Walking tour – Nochia 14th April

The Municipality of Platanias invites you to a further walk on Sunday 14th April.Nochia

Starting point: Nochia Square at 5:00 pm.

Programme:
Visit of the Ecclesiastical Museum.
Afterwards on a circular route of about 4 kilometers, you will walk to the Gerakiana settlement, visit the church of Saint Barbara, and the well that supplied this settlement.
Amazing views from the top of the hill, both of the bay of Chania and Kissamos.
On the way back you will visit GAIA, the traditional pottery where the traditional pitcher is made, as well as contemporary clay artworks, and you will enjoy a guided tour.
Members of the Red Cross will accompany the walkers.

Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes. We are waiting for you !!!!

I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike.
