Beach Cleaning Kokkino Metochi 20th April

More than twenty people – members of the Clean Beaches Kissamos team,  German and English friends staying in Crete for the Easter holidays, as well as local people from Drapanias gathered yesterday at the western end of Drapanias Beach to clean the beach west of the Ippokampos taverna.

Thanks to all who came and helped! As we know, many hands make light work.
In particular, thanks to the support of the local restaurants LEONIDAS and IPPOKAMPOS providing rubbish bags, tractor plus driver to collect the bags along the beach, and of course a big thank you for the treats afterwards!
