at the Municipal Art Gallery , Chalidon 98, Chania.

The artist’s work is characterized by her long-term study of the structure of things where the meaning and use of light is crucial. The exhibition presents representative works that she has created since 2000.
The continuous experimental approach of light led Papadzinakis to the use of different materials. The first large presentation of her work in Chania includes about 80 bright carvings and wall-paintings made of industrial materials such as plexiglass, aluminum, stainless steel, brass and natural light, as well as photos printed on transparent canvas and prints on paper.
The artist believes that each material evokes specific emotional reactions and spiritual images. Light is an overwhelming universal symbol, directly connected to life and metaphorically to the truth and as a basic element of our visual perception, thought and evaluation.
