Panhellenic event: Celebration for Breastfeeding – Chania 4th November

The Pan-Hellenic Network of Voluntary Breastfeeding and Maternity Support Groups  organise an event on Sunday, 4th November   – a celebration for breastfeeding: the Pan-Hellenic Simultaneous Breastfeeding.

Since 1992 the worldwide Association for the Promotion of Breastfeeding, the World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF have been celebrating the World Breastfeeding Week.

“In this celebration, we are participating for the ninth consecutive year, mothers from different cities in Greece, members of our Network teams, with the aim of promoting, supporting, informing, encouraging and exchanging information on breastfeeding, not only as words in a brochure or in a speech, but practically as a picture and presence “from mother to mother”.
At the same time, we will share information material, talks will be held and we will get to know each other!
We are expecting you this year, mothers who are breastfeeding, mothers to be, spouses and other friends and relatives, come and celebrate !!!”

Although breastfeeding is free and does not obey hours, babies who want to be breastfed around 12.00 will be counted in the all-time Simultaneous Breastfeeding that will be done at the same time in all cities!

The event is being held for the 9th consecutive year by the team
