Sculpture exhibition throughout the summer: “Journey into Time” – Platanias until 31st October

WHERE: Cretan Genesis Art Gallery, Shopping Mall Platanias

The sculptors Giorgos Psaradelis, Nikos Manesis and Manolis Petrakis invite you to a journey  between realism and surrealism with sculptures from wood, marble and stone. In the new Cretan Genesis Art Gallery the inside and the outside become one through the stage set by the three artists.

The result is summed up under the title “Journey to spacetime”: beauty, human strength and weakness , nature, myths, and timeless lessons, all presented as a journey.
The exhibition is presented by Myrto Kontomitaki, Museologist, Art Historian.
The exhibition is an initiative of Cretan Taste Co (M. Vlachaki, O. Papadogiorgakis) and is under the auspices of the Regional Unity of Chania and the Municipality of Platanias.

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family,children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And nine years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
