MUNICIPALITY OF KISSAMOS: Feverish preparations for the “Eleventh Kissamos Festival of Culture”
The organizers’ preparations for the “11th Kissamos Culture Festival” that are taking place from 10th -19th August in the town of Kissamos continue at a feverish pace. An event that has been established in recent years and is a “destination” of culture, tradition and values. The Public Businesses and the Municipality of Kissamos continue their efforts to promote culture, the unique advantages of the region and the local products through the “Kissamos Cultural Festival”.
Traditional Cretan products, folk art, professional primary producers exhibit their products to the public, thus presenting the tradition, taste and uniqueness of Cretan products. Artists, cooperatives, producers, cultural associations and municipalities participate in the Festival.
The Festival opens its gates on 10th August, daily from 6pm to 11:30pm at the Kissamos Beach next to the Municipal Park.
