The film tells the story of two children separated by 50 years. In 1927, Rose searches for the actress whose life she chronicles in her scrapbook; in 1977, Ben runs away from home to find his father.
They both search for the same mysterious link. Their adventures lead them to strange new places where mysteries are waiting at every corner, for themselves and their world.
