Open Air Cinema: “The Guns of Navarone”, Tavronitis 4th July

The spectacular WWII epic film “The Guns of Navarone”(1961) is based on Alistair MacLean’s novel, inspired by the Battle of Leros during the Dodecanese Campaign of WW II.
Plot: A British team is sent to cross occupied Greek territory and destroy the massive German gun emplacement that commands a key sea channel.

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more.
