UPDATE :Mikis Theodorakis Festival 2018 – Chania 29th July

According to a recent announcement:
Sunday 29 July the festival concert  turns into a concert of solidarity for those affected by the fires Attica.
The entrance to the concert is free, with optional financial support and contribution for the affected.

This year the Theodorakis Festival focuses on Mikis Theodorakis’s compositions and songs for the theatre.
Kostas Thomaidis, Rita Antonopoulou and Mania Papadimitriou, accompanied by George Saltaris and his orchestra, will present Mikis’ music.

WHEN: 29th July 21.30 (a different source says 21.00)
WHERE: Eastern Moat Theatre, Nikiforou Foka and Kiprou, Chania

Every year the Municipality of Chania and the Association Friends of Mikis Theodorakis organize a musical tribute to honor Greece’s great composer.
