Initiative for collection of food and relief items to those affected by the deadly fire in eastern Attica

The newspaper plataniasnews.gr in collaboration with the Municipal Social Cooperative Company) “AROMA GAIA”  based in Pyrgos Psilonerou (the village after Maleme when coming from Kissamos/ Kolymbari)  is gathering essentials for our fellow human beings who spend dramatic hours in our country!

We invite you to support this initiative in favour of the numerous families who cannot even cover their basic needs, neither for themselves nor for their children, and the number is rising dramatically.

You can bring the following items:

  1. LONG TERM FOOD
    Pasta, Rice, Milk, Sugar, Canned, Oil, Nuts, Croissants, Buns, Creams,  Salt, Vinegar, Baby Milk,
  1. HYGIENE ARTICLES
    Shampoos, Soaps, Shower Gels, Toilet Paper, Baby Diapers, Sanitary Napkins,
  1. CLOTHES
    For all ages
  1. OTHER ITEMS like Sheets, Blankets, Towels, etc.

We collect the food and relief items in the offices of the newspaper PLATANIAS NEWS and headquarters of the Municipal Social Cooperative Company) “AROMA GAIA” in Pyrgos Psilonerou, (opposite the M & B mini market).

The hours of product collection are:

09:00 – 14:00 and 17:00 – 21:00 from Wednesday 25/7 until Saturday 28/7 at 3pm (3) in the afternoon!
