12th Kissamos Carnival – Sunday 18th February

Kissamos Carnival is ready to welcome you for the 12th consecutive year in the biggest carnival celebration of Western Crete!

WHEN: 18th February 16.00

WHERE: Kissamos, in the historic Skalidi Street

Carnival Parade, with lots of music, dancing and joy.

Almost twenty large floats are participating in this year’s Kissamos Carnival.
This year most floats comment on the political and economic news, our everyday life, the problems that go through world everyday because of the crisis. There are also many topics from the world of fairy tales, as many schools are actively involved in our carnival, “said Mihail Koufakis, President of the Public Benefit Society of the Municipality of Kissamos.

After the parade there will be be live music with the Freaktones at Tzanakaki Square,
