Photo exhibition on disability, Chania 3rd – 8th December

On the occasion of the International Day of Disability  the Day Care Center  for people with disabilities (ΚΗ.ΦΑ.ΑΜΕΑ), the Municipality of Chania and KAM,  organize a photo exhibition on disability at the Center for Mediterranean Architecture.

WHEN: 3rd  to 8th December, opening hours: 10.00 -14: 00 & 18.00 – 21: 00.
Exhibition exhibition: Sunday 3rd December, 10.00.

WHERE: CAM, Centre for Mediterranean Architecture  (Grand Arsenal), Chania.
Entrance: free

The 3rd of December is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities .Its annual observance was proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly resolution 47/3 in 1992. It aims to promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities in all spheres of society and to increase awareness.

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family,children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And nine years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
