“The way of bread” – Traditional Breadmaking techniques revival: 22-23 July

Organised by the cultural association “The Well” of Koukounara – the revival program of traditional breadmaking techniques continues this weekend, with the 3rd phase: threshing & winnowing the wheat.

The activities will take place on the hill of Kefalas, a little above the village of Koukounara.

Program:

Saturday 22nd July
12:00 – Starting with threshing, which will continue into the afternoon.
21:00 – Puppet theatre show, presenting “Three stories for small (and big) children”

Sunday 23rd July
12:00 – Finishing the threshing & moving on to the winnowing, which will last until the evening.

The kafenion in the village will remain open throughout the weekend.
