This exhibition, under the auspices of the Region of Crete, shows works of Penelope Vlachogianni, entitled “Under the same Sun” in Chania (Sailing Club of Chania – Neorion MORO).

The painter emphasizes among other things: “After Governing the Crisis” and “The Aspects of Mistake “,
” The third cycle of my work deals with our dreams and our hopes. Beautiful, tanned, youthful bodies are rushing to the sea,laughing, playing casually in the sand. Light, cheerful images of past times, now reminiscent of wire mesh”.
When the sea of joy and prosperity becomes a sea of unhappiness and pain, only salvation exists. The consciousness of humanity and the belief that there is no other way if we want to dream once again. ”
