A summer musical evening with Yannis Nikolaou (from the duet Λαθρεπιβάτες) and his timeless songs, with Manos Trypias and the well known pianist Giorgos Saltaris!

WHEN: this Saturday, 24th June 22.00

WHERE:  Maleme Beach at the  MENTA seaside bar and restaurant.
At the SYNKA supermarket take the road down to the beach where you turn right. Continue approximaely 200m, the MENTA is on your right.

In the early 70s Yannis Nikolaou studied classical guitar and founded his first band.

In 1985 he meets Pantelis Thalassinos and creates the vocal duet of The Lathrepivates. Collaboration with Haris Alexiou, touring Greece.

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family,children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And nine years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
