Let’s do it Kissamos – Beach Cleaning

A great general effort was performed in Greece and in Kissamos to clean the beaches and the public spaces on Sunday morning, as part of the national campaign “Let’s do it Greece”.

Several teams in Kissamos alone took part, spread out along the different beach sections. More beach cleaning happened in other areas, such as Falasarna, Ravdoucha, Tavronitis, Platanias and further beyond.

The Kissamos Beach Cleaning team started from the stadium beach and cleaned the beach between the seafront tavernas all the way East towards Livadia, where we joined the Red Cross team coming from the opposite direction. About 20 people took part just on this section. We had a few newcomers, a great sunny day and we collected some 25 bags in total.
