Charity Christmas Market in support of school for autistic children – Chania 3rd-4th December

The Cultural Association of Young Citizens of the World  organizes a great Christmas Market again this year, together with the K.E.P.P.E.DI.CH. – CAM, in order to raise funds  for the  Elementary and Nursery School for Autistic Children in Chania.

In a warm Christmas atmosphere, the visitor will find many original gifts, Christmas gifts and others, also pastries and food  from around the world, but also the most traditional gifts .

The choice of gifts and sweets will be greater than ever, because this year many volunteers  from  Xania will participate with their own supplies.
The event, according to the Association Young Citizens of the World is on the one hand to raise funds for the Elementary and Nursery School for Autistic Children Chania, as well as the library “bibliomania”  of the club Young Citizens of the World in Sifaka Street 75 in Splantzia, and, secondly,  to inform the wider public about the programs, but also the difficulties with regard to the Library and the School.

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family,children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And nine years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
