4 December – Almyrida Winter Fayre

On Sunday 4 December is the Almyrida Fair, the largest of it’s kind in Crete. It takes place indoors at the Almyrida Hotel which is divided into 2 adjacent hotels. Located on the coast road into the town, they have a large car park in between the buildings. There will be many stalls selling local crafts and products, in particular the lovely Alison will be there selling her fantastic Cornish pasties, proper pork pies, sausage rolls, samosas etc. There will also be a food court with food from Jamaica, India, China, England etc as well as live music. Starts at 11.00.
