Movie ‘The High Sun’ (‘Zvizdan’) – Municipal Garden ‘Kipos’ Chania 9th – 11th September
The Croatian film director Dalibor Matanits looks back at the beginning and end of the cruel ethnic wars fought in former Yugoslavia from 1991 to 2001 through a trio of poignant love stories.
In 2015 the film was selected as the Croatian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the film festival in Cannes.
