Stavros Kougioumtzis was a most popular Greek composer of songs that lasted through time, e.g. Giorgos Dalaras sings songs written by St. Kougioumtzis.

The event was organized by the Metropolis of Kydonia and Apokoronas, the Municipality of Chania and the Regional Union of Chania.
