Open Air Cinema “Alexis Zorbas” Tavronitis 6th July
The open air cinema, organized by the Cultural Association of Tavronitis, starts again this summer at the small square in Tavronitis, next to the building housing the Cultural Association of Tavronitis.
The film season of summer 2016 starts with the film “Alexis Zorbas”.
An English writer travelling to Crete for business reasons finds his life changed forever when he meets Alexis Zorbas.
The film is based on the novel “Zorba the Greek” by the famous writer Nikos Katzanzakis born in Heraklion.

When in the centre of Tavronitis, on the old national road, turn off towards Paleochora,
