Paniyiri – Feast of the Holy Trinity -Traditional Festival – Gavalomouri, 19th June
This Πανηγύρι της Αγίας Τριάδος – feast of the Holy Trinity – organized by the Cultural Association of Gavalomouri takes place
in the courtyard of the church Holy Trinity in Gavalomouri.
Gavalomouri is located 7 km south of Tavronitis, on the road to Voukoulies – Paleochora. When coming from Tavronitis, turn right after the village of Neradzia,
and drive uphill to Gavalomouri.
After the service of the Church, free Pilafi* will be offered.

* Pilafi is a traditional rice dish and also a traditional wedding dish on Crete, where enormous quantities are made to feed the often thousands of invited guests. For recipe click here
