Under the SFIMMY 9 held the # preSFIMMY, a Hackathon for students-engineers, an activity that began in 2015, Patras, and is now a tradition of SFIMMY. The contest will take place on 5 and 6 March 2016 in different cities.
The theme of this year’s Hackathon will be announced one week before the competition. Within this time the teams will have to think about the project that will implement during # preSFIMMY.
Each group consists of 3-5 people and will bear the name of its choice and a motto. If you are interested in participating but can not find a group, you are welcome at the venue of the competition, where with luck you will have the opportunity to get in contact with other parties and make your own team.
The projects will be implemented in two days of competition, so that you will have time to think about and discuss with friends the topic of your project and to gather the necessary materials for its implementation. Organize and come to impress us! During two days, the event will be covered by social media. Each group should prepare a reference-description of the project, which should be submitted within a week after the end of the competition for the evaluation of effort and a three-minute video-presentation of the idea, which should be ready at the end of the weekend.
From each city will advance two projects that will have the opportunity to present in front of the audience SFIMMY 9 in Chania, where the big winner of the Hackathon will emerge.
