Sardine Festival Chania

September 1 – 10 at Neo Hora beach at the western end of Chania. The annual sardine festival takes place the first 10 days of September along the sandy beach area of Chania. The tavernas provide sitting areas and drinks or whatever you want to with your sardines. Free sardines but pay for any extras.  grilled-sardines
