Clean environment – Municipality Platanias

The Municipality of Platanias has just announced the completion of beach cleaning works within the municipality, including huge volumes of materials brought from the rivers.
Plastics were separated as much as possible for recycling.

“Our goal is the protection of the environment, but also the safety and hygiene of the swimmers. For this reason crews of the Municipality, carry out cleaning on a regular basis on the coastal front, but also in the hinterland of the Municipality.”
