CHANIA WINE FESTIVAL 25th and 26th January

The  Chania WINE FESTIVAL 2026 takes place on Sunday, January 25th, and Monday, January 26th, at the Mediterranean Centre for Architecture in the Old Port of Chania, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM daily, offering a chance to taste Greek and international wines, with proceeds supporting local charities.

Admission: €15

The Chania Wine Festival returns for its 4th year!
 Open to both industry professionals and the public.

Taste 800+ labels from 37 Greek wineries, 1 distillery and 8 international vineyard distribution companies in a unique experience for wine lovers and professionals.

The proceeds will be allocated, through the “SynAnthropos” Support Group, for the creation of a new room at the “Megalochari” Children’s Home for children in Chania, enhancing the ability of more children to receive quality care and support. ❤️

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family,children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And nine years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
