Lipotaktes*:
“Lipotaktes” by Mikis Theodorakis is a song cycle that explores themes of love, nature, children, and dreams, while also confronting the emotional impact of alienation, death, and frustration.
Theodorakis is known for his ability to blend modernist poetry with traditional Greek music, and “Lipotaktes” reflects this fusion.
The song cycle part of a larger collection of Theodorakis’s songs, many of which are associated with significant moments in Greek history and political movements.
