“UNSEEN PARIS ” – Fashion in Paris from the ephemeral to cultural heritage, architecture, city, politics – Chania 18th January

Glamorous fashion houses classic but also disruptive, ateliers where inspiration is transformed into creation, spaces where clothing design seeks sustainability through recycling and environmental sensitivity, shops where history meets design originality, fashion and jewellery schools along with thematic libraries, spaces where design fashion is synonymous with social housing and also museums .

Paris, a city that is duly considered to be its world capital, will be in focus of this year ‘s annual lecture with the general title UNSEEN PARIS organized by the Hellenic Association of Chania.

After the success of the previous three, the annual lecture of the UNSEEN PARIS group that aims to get to know the French capital and its culture, is now a tradition.Continuing this tradition, through an exciting journey to mythical spaces,  the magic of Parisian fashion but also the secrets of the spaces behind the spotlight and the glamour will be revealed, and the complex relationships between architecture, fashion, the arts, the city of Paris and of course politics will be highlighted.
