Wine Festival – Vouves 7th and 8th August

The Cultural Association of Vouves invites you to the traditional Wine Festival, on Thursday, 7th August and Friday, 8th August,  20.30, in the yard of the Primary School in Kato Vouves. It is a thematic event, which is dedicated to the village’s centuries-old tradition in viticulture and its excellent quality wine, which is offered free of charge to the visitors of  the festival. 
Music:
Thursday, 7th August: Stelios Vamvakas and Stella Georgiakaki. The Dance Group “Psiloritis” will be dancing.
Friday, 8th August Cretan Night with Zoidakis Nikos and his band.

Entrance: € 6,- (including a bottle of wine for 4 people)

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family,children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute.
