Taste and Art Festival programme – Kissamos 16th – 24th August

The Kissamos Festival of Taste and Art is an annual event in Kissamos that celebrates local culture, products, and artistry. 
Its aim is to highlight the unique offerings of Kissamos, showcasing its culture, local products, and the talent of its people.

WHERE: : Coastal road west of the Municipal Stadium in Kissamos
Free admission.

The festival features a wide array of attractions including local product showcases, cultural exhibits, live music, dance performances and culinary events.

Showcases of local products: Visitors can sample and purchase a variety of Cretan specialties, such as cheese, olive oil, baked goods, and spirits. 

Cultural events and exhibits: The festival highlights the region’s rich cultural heritage through various displays and performances. 

Live music: Expect to enjoy traditional Cretan music other musical performances as well as dance performances. 

Culinary events: Chefs prepare tasting evenings, showcasing the region’s cuisine.
