ABOUT THE PLAY:
In Three Tall Women, Edward Albee moves from the theme of human relationships developed in his earlier works (Zoo Story, A Delicate Balance, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf) to a central issue of our time: self-esteem.
The three heroines are of different ages in the first part of the play: one young, one middle-aged and one very old, like three different people.
However, in the second part it is revealed that these three women are actually the same person at three different stages of their life. A work with a lot of humor, but also cruelty and full of truths.
