The “Meeting” is a project that proves that no one’s past can be erased, recalling Shakespeare’s phrase in The Tempest: “The past is prologue”.

The play:
An elderly former famous choreographer, who has now retired and lives completely alone, receives a visit from a couple who ask him for an interview about how the art scene worked in his own time. But as this “interview” develops, the lonely choreographer is forced to face a big buried secret of his past.
The play premiered in New York in 2004 and in 2014 Stephen Belber directed the play for the cinema with Patrick Stewart, Carka Gugino and Matthew Lillard.
