Theatre: “Black Agatha” (‘Η μαύρη Αγκάθα’) – Chania 20th March

This play is performed in context of World Racism Day,  as a so-called Reader’s Theatre (actors don’t memorise their texts).
It is the story that both entertains us and, at the same time, concerns us.

The story: ”
Somewhere in the 1970s, a group of tourists set up their tents just outside a mountainous village of Crete, famous painters who want to work in nature.
The village people, for the very first time in their lives, see a person whose skin is black.
They try to interpret this phenomenon, each of them in his own way … .
