The play is in Greek, but there is a lot of communication through gesture, pauses and silence than through verbal communication, so also those theatre lovers with little knowledge of Greek will enjoy the play.

In a suburb of London, a wealthy couple in the daily, sterile routine, are talking openly about the  wife’s lover and her meeting him three times a week at home in the absence of her husband.

The couple  have reached some  strange point in their relationship, the wife  talking about her lover  to her husband who does not seem to object to this arrangement. However, we soon become aware that  these afternoon visits are a fantasy world which has become the fabric of the couple’s relationship. Their conversations are like  role-plays in which they test out their feelings for and fantasies about each other.
