Art exhibition: “NO TOPO” – Paleochora 19th – 26th October

With the use of artwork, using various graphic media, James Skone and his wife Krista, tell us a story of a relationship with Cretan mountains. They are pioneering around 4000m of scrambles and rock climbs, sensitively and empathically interacting with nature. The concept of this particular art exhibition is to offer an alternative perception to classic mountaineering – an exploration and visualisation as a form of  landscape art which is beyond the usual and accepted realms normally associated with this activity.Exhibition Paleo James

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family, children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And nine years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
