Donations of medicines and medical supplies from Austria for Annousakeio in Kissamos

Club 35_Annousakeio SpendenübergabeOn Tuesday, 16th July, the Annousakeio,  hospital for chronic diseases and rehabilitation centre in Kissamos, received further donations of medicines and medical supplies from Austria.

The donations are from Dr. Pribyl in Graz, Dr. Nina Faber in Graz, who retired and donated medicines, wound care material, diagnostic instruments, an ergometer & electrocardiograph, a spirometer, including computers etc. ,  an X-ray picture viewer,  and  from the Soroptimist Club Murau.

Providing help is easy, you just have to do it. Projects do not always require considerable financial means but personal commitment.

Thanks to all those who committed themselves to this project and helped to make it work successfully.

The project ‚Sharing is Caring’ between Annousakeio and the Soroptimist International Club of Murau, Austria, was initiated 2015  by Lydia Isola, a resident of Western Crete and member of Soroptimist International Austria, SI Club Murau.

Lydia

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family, children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And nine years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
